With reference to your letter No. C.F.12141/26 of
the 16th ultimo, on the above mentioned subject, I am
commanded by the Army Council to acquaint you for the
information of Mr. Secretary Amery, that the Council have
carefully considered this question in the light of post-war
requirements, and now find that it will be necessary to
retain the se sites.
